Message and the car is completely assembled. If a manual tranny is the clutch pedal to the floor and the safety switch enabled? The safety switch has a plastic plug that contacts the safety switch to enable it, with age the plug can crack and fall out, check, see if it is there. This happened to me out of the blue at a store, went in and when I came out to start it did not and the plastic plug pieces were on the floor.

Is the starter relay good?

Is battery ground solid at battery and other connections?

If all these appear to be good (might check ok but be bad) try a direct jump from batt + post to starter post at solenoid connector. This overrides all starter safety controls as well as the starter relay. Note relays can bench test great but fail under starter high amp draw load.
Need to use a heavy gage wire for this.
